Installation instructions:
Remove the complete action and forearm from the receiver. Using the choke tube wrench, turn the forearm lug counter clockwise to remove the forearm from the action slide. The lug may be tight, so be careful that you don't damage the forearm or action slide

Note: This forend is only compatible to Mossberg Shotguns with a removable forend, any Mossberg Shotgun newer than 2006 should be checked to insure that it has a removable forend with a castle nut.

I have a Mossberg 500 with the newer forend that was molded onto slide tube. After taking off the old forend that I disliked, at first I thought this new tube would not fit onto my tube! But, with a little love and a rubber mallet, I was able to slide this on my stubborn metal tube. It feels different instantly. Nice, solid action and no wiggle. Solid construction. Just BEWARE of newer 500s with molded factory forends!

Very nice and solid forend, BUT BE AWARE! this forend pump fits a 7 5/8" action slide tube, this did not fit my Moss.500A action slide tube witch is 6 3/4" long.
