Got it for a Maverick 88 and it fit great and cycled shells through it, but will not be shot untill my stepson gets it. Judging from the address stamped on the barrel itself and the label on the package stating "Made in Mexico with American Steal," it is probably closer to being a Maverick 88 barrel than a 500. My main reason for the 4 bullet rating is the couple of small 1/8" wear marks in the bluing. Possibly from the factory packaging, because CTD packed it well for shipping in a 5' box, with LOTS of stuffing.

So I ordered my security barrel on 4-19-12. Standard 3-5 day shipping. Figured I would be seeing it arrive sometime around Monday or Tuesday with it being the weekend. No biggie, since I was working all weekend anyway. Imagine my surprise when I got home Saturday evening and there sat a box with my name on it! Opened it up and there it was. Installed it in seconds. Would have given 5 bullets, but haven't had the pleasure of running anything through it yet. Well done CTD! Well Done!!

I ordered this same barrel from a different online retailer and I waited and waited. For 3 weeks I sat there, waiting for my barrel and I finally called them. They said they had no idea when it will be there and that it hadn't shipped from their supplier. So I came here and two days ago I placed my order. It is already on its way and should be here on Saturday. Talk about awesome service. It will only be the 4th day by the time I get it. I will 100% be buying gun stuff from here again.

I placed my order for this barrel on Saturday, 4/7/12 and it was delivered Tuesday morning, 4/10/12. The barrel was very well packed with the Mossberg factory packaging inserted into a box about 4 feet long and 10 inches square. There was about 10 pounds of wadded packing paper jammed into the box along side the clear plastic "blister pack" (that Mossberg packs the barrel in). Quick shipping and quick delivery.
