The MSA (MOE Sling Attachment) attaches directly to the MOE Hand Guard, providing a forward sling attachment point for the Magpul MS2, MS3 and other clip in sling systems. Like the RSA, the MSA is precision cast steel, and is Melonite finished for wear and corrosion resistance.

This is probably one of the greatest sling mounts I have used, tested, and worked with. It's small profile and solid material is very ideal, and out of the way. While operating with a single point sling mount, this gives the ability to take advantage of using that double point mount very quickly. The location along the side of the Magpul's hand guards has been the best solution I have used thus far and will continue to use. If you have an M4 length Magpul hand guard, you cannot mount this in conjunction with their illumination kit (see that review for fit issues). Their MS3 sling is the ideal solution for taking advantage of the single or double point options for this attachment. I had to buy it from another vendor, but the sling that this mount is designed for is one you will not regret.
