The ASAP Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point allows a range of motion greater than 180 degrees, enabling true ambidextrous weapon manipulation for both left and right handed shooters. The ASAP replaces the standard AR15/M16 carbine stock receiver end plate, providing a tactical advantage by minimizing snagging and facilitating easy transition to and from weapon and reaction side shoulders. The ASAP works with Single-Point type slings with snap hook style attachments such as the Magpul MS2 Sling.

Made from precision cast black manganese phosphatized steel, the ASAP is compatible with both mil-spec and commercial-spec carbine receiver extensions (buffer tubes). The ASAP has been proven to withstand stress tests of over 300lbs.

Great product! Love it! Suggest getting a 2 point spanner wrench to re-install castle nut as my 3 point doesn't have much room to turn.

I wasn't sure which sling adapter plate to go with, due to so many choices, but Magpul has always been a favorite brand, so I tried this one along with a few others by other companies. I can say all of the ones I tested had a firm hold onto the weapon itself, as well as the sling. I was concerned with how well these adapters would hold the sling but all did well. This particular adapter stood out to me for a one-point adapter as being by far the best I tested. The ring that you attach the sling to moves freely from side-to-side and does so quickly, with no hang-ups or hesitation. This is the one I went with and I have been extremely happy with it and absolutely no regrets. Save yourself time and money and go with this one as a "first" choice. You won't regret it!

Easy enough to install, especially with all the videos online. Seems to be very good quality and is holding up well. The only thing I don't like is that if your buttstock is fully forward, then you cannot swivel your sling.
