The Magpul MOE Hand Guard for AR15/M16 rifles with carbine-length piston and 'direct impingement' gas systems combines the light weight of a standard hand guard with modular flexibility. Slots at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions allow for optional mounting of Picatinny rail sections for tactical lights and other accessories. Reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction provides operational durability without the weight and expense of an aluminum rail hand guard. Front extensions and lower lip provides additional operator protection from hot front sight assembly.

This slipped right on to my Bushmaster Carbon 15. It looks great and feels better in my hand than the factory hand guard. I paired it up with a Magpul AFG2 (Angled Foregrip Grip) and I couldn't be happier with it.

This is an awesome product. I've had almost half a dozen different foregrips, rails, etc on my ARs in the past few years, and unless you want to spend the $$$ on a free floated rail system (and deal with all that weight too), this is THE way to go. Fits well in the hand, has mounts if you want them, but still has a sturdy and solid feel and is very light weight. Looks sharp too. I've run some shooting drills with my brother in law who is also an AR guy, and carries his for a living, and he wanted to buy it immediately. He offered me $40 cash for it on the spot (more than I paid of course) and I said no, he should just go buy one for himself. You should too.

Ordered the MOE Handguard on 5/23 and received it on 5/26. Impressed with the way it fits my Colt 6920. Feels well built. Two things I don't like: Heat shield doesn't cover the top part of the handguard, and you have to take it off to move the vertical grip if you want to move it. Otherwise, I am very impressed with the product. CTD does it again with fast shipping and a good price.

Very satisfied with this product, and CTD's fast delivery. I purchased this to replace the standard handguard on my new Del-Ton AR-15. As with all of the Magpul products I've tried so far, the quality is superb! It installed easier, and fits better, than the original. I HIGHLY recommend getting this!
