The low-profile XTM Rail Panels are a two-piece design that attach anywhere on a 1913 Picatinny rail without having to remove previously-mounted accessories. The combination of design and material used in the XTM Panels ensures they will remain securely in place under all operating conditions, but may be easily removed using the tips of two rounds when necessary.

Each set comes with (4) two-piece panels which will cover ONE side of a carbine rail.

I ordered these rail covers for my Rock River AR and they are perfect. They don't catch the heat off the barrel and I don't know what the other guy was doing, but they are really easy to install. They just snap together once you have them positioned on the rail you want covered up. Taking them apart took a little playing, but now its really easy (the magpul plastic bullets work perfect for that job). All you do is insert the tip of the two bullets facing towards eachother, but in the openings that are diagonal from one another and then pry up on the rail cover.

I bought a pack of all four colors for my carbine length AR-15 quad rail and these things work great. They look good and they go on much easier then they come off, which is also good. If you have a quad rail with quick detach sling holes cut into it, these will not line up properly but I was able to force them into position with only one pair that wouldn't quite lock into place, but they still won't budge. 5 bullets, these are a great addition to any free space you have on your rail.

These rail covers look great, they feel great in your hands, and they are a bear to install. After trying and failing to install these without tools, I ended up using a rubber mallet to force these things onto my rails after fitting them halfway together first. I broke several pieces trying to get these things on, and I had to remove the center tabs from many of them to make them fit. I also had to bring out the rotary tool to make these fit towards the ends of the rails. Overall, I am pleased with how these work on my AR, but this product was definitely not "plug and play" for me.
