The Enhanced Trigger Guard is a black anodized aluminum drop in replacement for the AR15/M16 weapons platform. It features a shallow "V" shape for better use of gloves in tactical shooting or cold weather operations. The Enhanced Trigger Guard is non-folding, has rounded edges, and fills the annoying "gap" at the rear of the standard trigger guard. All mounting hardward included.

After having purchased and installed the enhanced trigger guard, my first question was "was it worth it?" Installing it on my DPMS did require some drilling. Those with a DPMS will know what I'm talking about. It does provide a little more room and I can see it being useful in the winter time when wearing gloves. The item is a perfect match in terms of color and fit, but if I had to do it over again, I'd pass. In my humble opinion, it just doesn't make that much of a difference.

This trigger guard is slick. I wanted a little extra room for gloves in the winter, and this fit the bill. Fit and finish are excellent, and installation took four minutes. Another top notch product from Magpul, and another flawless order from CTD.

This trigger guard is a great improvement over the standard. Make sure you use a roll pin punch, and not drill the old pin out as some gun smith sites say to do.

The install was easy, the finished matched my rifle, and does give you a little more room. When I first installed it, it wiggled and I was disappointed. However, I took out the roll pin and placed the smallest O-ring I could find under the guard and put it back together. Easy fix to get the feel I wanted.
