TAPCO designed their SKS Detachable Magazines with serious shooters in mind. The mag body, made of high strength composite, has horizontal grooves cut into it for an enhanced gripping surface. They’ve used the highest quality interior components and incorporated a metal floorplate so you can expect maximum strength from this magazine. That, plus the fact that this mag is made in the USA so it counts for three 922r compliance parts, you could say we’ve really thought of everything.

Holds 20 rounds of 7.62 x 39mm ammo
Can be used in factory wooden stocks by filing the inside of the magazine well on the wooden stock, in order to accommodate the wider polymer magazine.
Will not fit in the Russian SKS without modification
Counts as 3 U.S. Sec 922r Compliant Parts (body, follower, and floor plate)

I've purchased a few mags (Tapco, ProMag, USA Mag, etc). Every other mag I've purchased jammed, broke, or didn't attach properly. The Tapco 20 works perfectly. It fit easily, with no mods, into both the original and aftermarket stock. It's fired hundreds of rounds without a single jam in my Yugo.

Smooth spring and flower. Fits perfectly in Yugo and Chinese rifles. Takes some work to fit for Russian models, but nothing a Dremel can"t handle. Buy now or pay 5 times as much at a gun show in a couple years.

This magazine was a little tight at first in my Norinco Type 56, but after a couple uses, it has broken in and inserts/removes flawlessly! I will be buying two or three more when I get more money.

I wasnt sure on these mags since the 30 round tapco mag broke its first time out. These mags (I bought two) worked perfect fit in my gun no problem! I have a Chinese Norinco SKS. No feed problems, I even bumpfired to test the mag and had no problems!

Just bought 2 for my norinco sks. At first I didn't think they were going to work with the wood stock. However, after some modifications they work great. They arrived 2 days after I ordered them. Can't wait to get my tapco stock!!

I bought 4 of these mags and I started having jams right off the bat and feeding issues. I solved the problem by instead of putting all 20 rounds in, I would put 15 and it would work no problem. Not sure if anyone else had the same issue, but I just left a few rounds out and it worked just fine.
