Works perfectly in my 2007 XD40 subcompact. Springs are VERY stiff at first, and you can only load 8 rounds. Leave loaded with 8 rounds for a week, and will then easily accept the 9th.

Ordered on 7/1/11, received on 7/5/11. Since then, have put about 200 rounds through this magazine on my XD40, with zero issues whatsoever. Good, solid magazine. Stainless steel is very durable.
