The PMAG is a lightweight AR15/M16 compatible magazine. It features an advanced impact resistant polymer construction, a pop off Impact/Dust Cover for storage, and an easy to disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction from pouches. The PMAG 30 utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance and an anti tilt, self lubricating follower for increased reliability.

The Gen 2 revision has been updated with a new body ribbing design which allows for better compatibility with aftermarket mag couplers, a new follower which provides even smoother loading with military stripper clips, and the Impact/Dust Cover can now be snapped onto the floorplate when not in use to prevent possible loss.

Note: Magpul has recently released the Gen 3 M3 Magazine. The magazines listed on this page are Gen 2 PMAGs with the dust covers. The M3 magazines will have a different part number when we receive them.

The mags feed and function flawlessly. In my opinion, there is no comparison to the old aluminum mags. These are so much better. If they become available again, I would highly recommend getting a few. For this price, you can't pass them up!

I own six. Best mag I own. Easier to load than my other mags. The aluminum mag's spring tends to drag while loading. These are smooth as silk to load. Wish I had bought more.

Great price, great product! I have a SIG m400 and a SIG p556, both in .223/5.56 NATO. They love these mags and so do I. You can also by accessories for the mags, like ranger tabs or mag links. Best price option for any AR mags. 4000 rounds through mine, no issues.

This review is for all who like plastic magazines for use with a battle rifle. They are prettier, but they are not stronger. They are not lighter, either. However, they are a lot cheaper to make, and buy, so you can purchase a lot more of them! The standard loaded Bushmaster 30 round aluminum magazine is approx 28 graims lighter than a plastic PMAG with the same weight round loaded in it. So those of you that have a gram scale can easily see for yourself. One more thing: a metal magazine can, for the most part, be repaired if it gets a little bent, but the plastic ones get melted and remolded! Go figure.

Best AR mags, period. Durable, reliable, and cheap. They come with a dust cover that protects the feed lips when storing mags loaded for long periods of time. Glad I bought a stockpile before the election. Wish I'd bought more.
