The PMAG is a lightweight 5.56x45 NATO (.223 Remington) AR15/M16 compatible magazine. It features an advanced impact resistant polymer construction, a pop off Impact/Dust Cover for storage, and an easy to disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction from pouches. The PMAG 30 utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance and a anti tilt, self lubricating follower for increased reliability.

The PMAG MagLevel features transparent windows on both sides of the body and has a painted indicator on the spring for quick determination of approximate rounds remaining in the magazine.

The Gen 2 revision has been updated with a new body ribbing design which allows for better compatibility with aftermarket mag couplers, a new follower which gives even smoother loading with military stripper clips, and the Impact/Dust Cover can now be snapped onto the floorplate when not in use to prevent possible loss. Along with larger windows and round count numbers on the body, the PMAG MagLevel's stainless steel magazine spring is now coated with mil spec black oxide and the indicator coil painted with a high visibility orange color.

Note: Magpul has recently released the Gen 3 M3 Magazine. The magazines listed on this page are Gen 2 PMAGs with the dust covers. The M3 magazines will have a different part number when we receive them.

It's Magpul, what else needs to be said. As with most of their products Magpul seems to think of everything. It's a good mag, sturdy, feeds great, the window is nice, the dust cover is great for storage or for those that live in dusty areas. If your looking for a sturdy, dependable and well made mag you won't go wrong here.

Good mag, I gave it 4 because there was manufacturer plastic still on the mag and I had to deburr it. Other than that they seem great. The shipping price is kinda high but oh well- got here in 4 days can't wait to see if it feeds my -15 well!

I have a DMPS AR-15 and these mags work without a hitch, they are strong and since I live in east Tx I know with the 3-5 day delivery it usually arrives in 2 days since the warehouse is in Fort Worth. Dust covers are excellent, quick maintenance or parts replacement can be done due to the quick access plate on the bottom, five stars by far not to mention the price is cheaper than dirt.
