The Urbino Tactical Stock is designed to be a very comfortable stock to increase control and reduce shooter fatigue especially in long shooting sessions. It has a fixed length and is made from injection-molded glass-filled nylon. It has a short tactical length of pull of 12.5 inches to make it easy to shoulder and comfortable while wearing body armor, extra field gear or heavy clothing. This also makes it a good option for smaller shooters who also need a shorter stock for proper control. It feaures a Limbsaver recoil pad and a urethane rubber grip. The stock also has Benelli-style side sling loops for 1.25" sling webbing and a hole at the lower rear of the stock that accepts QD style sling swivels (swivels not included but available seperately). Additionally, there is a stock storage compartment under the removable recoil pad. This is a comfortable, quality and durable tactical stock that offers a lot of value for the price and looks great too. This stock provides the proper cheek height for beed sights, open sights or ghost ring sights and does is not compatible with a cheek riser. If you are using optics with a higher line of sight, then the Cheek Riser model of the Urbino Stock would be your best choice.

The Urbino 870 version fits the H&R Pardner Pump Protector perfectly. No gunsmithing. Pardner pump protector with Urbino looks very similar to Benelli's M4 shotgun. Urbino's build quality is excellent and shorter length of pull made a defensive stance more comfortable. I did experience some cheek slap, due to steep drop in stock, but went away when I attached cheek riser.

Delivery was as advertised for CTD. Mesa Tactical has produced an after market, pistol grip stock that is an operators choice. Fit and finish are second to none. Length of pull is made for quick response. The stock has the look of what all have come to expect of the Benelli tactical family. However, looks and functions great on my 870. The no slip urethane buttpad is comfortable and gives adequate cushion to heavy 12 ga. recoil. The buttplate fits securely and disconnects easily for access to a hollow utility compartment. There are more features. However, it's safe to say I would recommend this to any serious shotgunner.
