Mako Mossberg 500 Handguard with Rails, Black.

Drop in tactical forearm rail system upgrade for the Mossberg 500 shotgun. Provides a strong platform on which to mount required accessories. Lower rail and two removable side rails. MIL-SPEC reinforced polymer composite.

Note: This forend is only compatible to Mossberg Shotguns with a removable forend. Any Mossberg Shotgun newer than 2006 should be checked to insure that it has a removable forend with a castle nut.

Fits my 500 A perfectly with no dremeling, fitting, or gunsmithing of any kind. It feels very durable and my different foregrips fit fine as well as different surefire lights and other attachments. I definitely recommend this product and I am a gunsmith and retired Marine. Semper Fi.

This fore grip will not allow you to put the nut back on unless you use a drill or dremel tool to shave the inside down. Multiple web sites and you tube show how to "modify" the grip but that is too much work considering the ammount of accessories out there.

I had to Dremel the hell out of this thing to get the Fore-end retaining nut in. I have the Mossberg 500A and I seriously could not believe how hard this was to put on.

This did not fit my newer model mossy 500, as it says in the description make sure you have the correct model. I wish it did fit however its very well made.
