I bought three of these and had NO problems with installing them! I put them on my WASR 10s and they went right on. You do need to give them a tap with a rubber mallet to get them started, then you just put the gas tube in a vice and twist it into place. Wicked simple! For the newbies who gave this 2 bullets: you just need to know what you're doing. I installed all three of these in about 45 minutes and I wasn't racing to get them done. Plus, I was putting on new stocks and grips. I would definitely recommend these handguards and will put this on my next AK, too.

It didn't fit at all. Both the upper and lower were too short and it had a cheap feel anyway. CTD was very helpful with the return though. The product itself is the reason for the 1 bullet rating.

Lower fit like a champ on my WASR. Upper took a hour and a Dremel, but once mounted, it's snug as a bug. Got an Ergo sure stop on my slide stock AK. Now I wish there was a range that will let me really try it out.

Took nearly 2 hours of gunsmithing to make it fit correctly on my Hungarian AK-47. So, if you're new to doing gun customizations, avoid this item. I will say once I got it within specs, it looks awesome! Good feel to it as well. Not all AK-47s will have this issue.

I installed this on my ak-74 and I have to say the lower was a pain to install but was very nice once I got it in. The upper is too short and is garbage at best with it being too short and does not hold on very well. If they improved the design of the upper to fit, this would be an awesome item. So for now they received a well deserved 1 bullet from me.
