Leupold also improved the mechanical function of the VX-1, installing finger-adjustable, 1/4-MOA click windage and elevation adjustments, that allow quick and easy zeroing and easy
adjustment in the field. The power selector ring incorporates a
tactile indicator, making it easy to grasp and turn, even while
wearing gloves. A fast-focus eyepiece with a low-profile lock ring
makes reticle focus easy to achieve and maintain, and a gold-plated
