Numerous sources say do not use this ammo in an older, micro-groove barrel. I do not know why, as I had three inch groups at 200 yards, which is pretty good for this type of rifle. Sighted at 2 inches high at 100, I was about 5 inches low at 200 yds. My nephew used this rifle to deer hunt in WI. Two quick shots at 50 yds and he had two deer down. One shot right through the heart with minimal expansion, and one hit high in the back and it took a section out of its back about 10 inches in diameter! Awesome stuff!
