Title says it all. Best AMMO ever. Shoots sub-MOA @ 100 yards out of my LE6940. Never did any issue arise. Just does what it's suppose to do.

Thanks, Keith, for that informative post. I just got my new 5.56 ACR-15 Bushmaster in July and only fired a few rounds of this ammo. I only bought six boxes for now, since the rifle was purchased for home defense mostly. I rely on people such as you a lot for information about ammo and guns, as I am not into range shooting. I weed through the posts and the cream advice always rises to the top. The 5 bullets I gave were for the CTD excellent service and the beauty of Hornady ammo. I have a .40 S&W Sig and two Ruger 9mms, and Hornady and Gold Dot is what I stocked up with.

I ordered this at 5:00 pm on Monday and it was delivered by 1:00 Tuesday. I live in Texas and that's where it was shipped from, but still, that's customer service. I've done a ton of research and the Tap 5.56 Hornady kept coming up as the best self-def/hunting/barrier penetration/accurate ammo out there for this caliber. This is from hunters and military special forces using this ammo. The problem is you can't buy 5.56; only .223. It's not available to the public. Well, the Superformance Match ammo in 5.56 is the exact same ammo, minus the nickle case (per Hornady) - that's it. Same powder and bullet, just not a silver case - big deal! This ammo has been rated at 2920 fps from a 20 inch barrel. Have read articles and seen where this ammo is getting 2860 fps from a 14.5 and 2900 fps from 16 inch barrels. That's serious velocity from a 75 grain load!
