The Global Military Gear quad rail hand guard for the AK-47 is a two piece drop in replacement for your factory forend. The hand guard features picatinny rail at 12, 3, 6, and 9 O'clock, perfect for mounting vertical fore grips, lights, and other accessories. The rail is constructed of aircraft aluminum and finished with a black hard coat anodizing.

Put this on my Norinco MAK90. Since the barrel fore-grip retainer was placed just a bit closer to the receiver than it should have been I had to do a little trimming on the grip to make it fit but once it was on there and tightened down it's solid and looks great. plus there is just the right height at so you can still use the iron sights. Only thing I've noticed is it is just barely off center line but that might be from me trimming it, otherwise I love it so far.

When you put this on your AK, make sure not to tighten the screws all the way, because your bolt will get stuck. It fit my WASR 10 like a beauty. Very sturdy. I put my red dot on it and it looks hella bada$$. Good product for the money.

Strongly suggest not buying this product if it becomes available again. Nothing against Cheaper Than Dirt because they're amazing in all aspects, but I had to file for about 3 hours just to get it to fit my rifle and it was made for my type of firearm.
