Bought this a few months back and noticed it spaced the wood stock out to where it was not properly supported by the trigger slot cut into the stock. Rather than cutting the stock down and Dremeling a slot to fit properly, I was lazy and just left it on. Low and behold, I dropped my gun and guess what, folks? My stock broke. Make sure you modify your stock properly to fit with this sling loop, or you just may break your stock like I did.

I bought one for my 1100 TAC2 and another for my 870 Express Tactical. The 1100 has a factory shoulder-mounted pistol grip stock (Speedfeed, I think) and the 870 has a factory standard composite buttstock. Both fit perfectly, and as an added bonus, it took up ALL twist-slop that both stocks had from the factory. This "slop" may show itself when shooting big boomers or just a lot of shells, and the stock starts to twist out of alignment with the receiver. If this frustrates you, like it did me, this sling attachment will solve this issue - and you don't have to worry about over-torquing or re-torquing the bolt to keep the stock solid. It also added about 3/8" to LOP and the reach to the trigger, which also was an added bonus because I have big hands. My wife's smaller hands didn't have any problem with either set-up. Made for a single point sling, the unit is made with quality. It says "GG&G" in white lettering on the ejection port side, which is pleasant to look at. My single point sling clips on and off easily. If you like single point slings, as some don't, you shouldn't be disappointed with this purchase. The finish is a smooth matte black, like parkerizing, and doesn't match the matte "crinkle" finish of the Remington Tactical, but I think it still looks good.

Well it fits really nice to the receiver but I did come into a small problem since I have a different stock that's a six position stock and the screw ended up being too short since the end plate sticks out further than the original backing plate. Not really a hard thing to fix just something to think about.
