If you purchase this know in advance there are two sets of hex screws in the mount (per side) for a total of 4. The two closest to the rail need to be tightened first. You access these by removing the initial screws you would see if the mount was in place. Then replace the original screws you removed to gain access to the inside screws (closest to the rail when mounted). If you don't wanna spend 60bucks and can live with the hassle of tightening 4 screws this seems to be an OK mount. For "real life" quick/easy access, on/off of a sling or bipod, spend the extra $$$ and get something else. It is what it is. It works if you want something that you won't remove very often.
