Crimson Trace will cost you an arm and part of your leg, but it's worth the up front cost in long term satisfaction. You sacrifice some finger real estate with the pressure switch. However, you can always get a mag/grip extension to make that up. What you get is an on-demand laser with just the slightest squeeze of your middle finger. Another thing I didn't even anticipate is that the gun prints less when it's in your pocket. The shape of the pistol is changed enough so that it's not as easy to make out the barrel. The Crimson Trace also keeps this pistol "slim," as it doesn't add any thickness at all. The location of the pressure switch ensures it won't get turned on and left on by accident in your pocket. After first installation, take it to the range and run through a few magazines before final sight in.
