The CAA M4S1 M16/AR15 carbine handguard has interlocking top and bottom handguard sections with a bottom rail that can be mounted to the existing sling swivel mount for additional rigidity.

A lightweight polymer handguard designed to withstand the extreme operating temperatures of a gas piston system.

The M4S1 also works with standard direct gas operating systems which includes two interchangeable lower rails of 4” and 1.75” lengths this allows the operator to quickly change rails based on mission needs. The M4S1 also Includes 2 mounting points for a pushbutton quick detach sling swivel.

Specifications and Features:
Upper and lower handguard sections interlock providing the rigidity and stability you need in addition to solidly mounting to the delta ring and handguard end cap
Bottom rail can mount to front sling mount for additional rigidity if forward sling swivel is removed.

I've had and used many different grip systems with AR15's and prefer this one over all. Much lighter weight and very sturdy. Rails are in just the right positions. Looks much better than anything else on the market in my opinion.

I had researched handguards for my recent M4 build and the CAA M4S1 handguards immediately caught my attention! This item seemed to be the most innovative and unique of all the ones I looked at. Once I received them, the included Picatinny rails were easy to install and the handguards were easy to install on my M4 upper receiver. I had to make one modification to the lower rail where it has a small section which protrudes out and is meant to lock into the sling swivel mount on the bottom of a standard sight tower, but my upper has a railed gas block instead, so I simply removed that little protruding bit with a rotary tool and sanded it smooth. No problem and I did it in about 5 minutes. The material is VERY solid and weighs less than I expected. The vents in the top of the handguard give good ventilation and the two halves clamshell together in a nearly seamless way. The handguard design is comfortable in the hand and provides a solid and sure grip. Besides the functionality of these handguards, they are just plain COOL looking and add a very distinctive appearance to my weapon! I attached my vertical quick disconnect foregrip to the bottom rail and it is very solid. I plan to mount my weapon light to the right side rail as soon as it arrives. I give this product my highest rating and recommendation! So glad I got one!

I rate this forend five bullets. This is a combat ready must for every AR-15 owner. To own one is to love one.

Width of grip/ handling clearance: 5 bullets. Rigidity when assembled to weapon: 5 bullets. Fit: 5 bullets. Aesthetics: 5 bullets. QD sling swivel port: QD swivel would not engage the locking ball bearings. I also had to file and sand a considerable amount (.020-.035") from the exterior standoff portion for positive engagement. However that was simple to do. But for that zero bullets. I see an average of four bullets there. CTD did ship mighty quick as usual. P.S. I didn't find the optional top rail for sight mounting anywhere.....

Great product! Small side rails leave no wasted rail space and nothing to cover. Have no use for the optional 9" top rail so no reviews for that. The 4 bullets are because I'm a little disappointed in only 4" of rail on the bottom (with the longest rail attached). Not much of a complaint. The handguard is very sturdy. In fact, it's more solid than the original handguard on my M&P15, which I love, but that's another review. Install took minutes and added a very appealing look.
