At first I thought this would be great. The screws are annoyingly offball sizes though, but after instillation it was good. After a few times at the range though I was very unhappy the rear(one on outside) screw's threaded insert came loose and made it impossible to tighten the thing down so it wobbled. I tried to take it out and since it's impossible to take the rear one out since the 'crap-sert' is bigger than the hole I had to literally cut the whole tube off them dig for threads to cut with my dremmel. It's not like I used the butt stock to smash open doors or anything either so whoever had the idea of pushing inserts into plastic and hoping they would hold was a idiot.

Just got mine in the mail today. Paid for 10 day ground shipping, and it was here in 3 days! WOW! Also, in regards to the buffer tube, my Magpul MOE commercial butt stock slides PERFECTLY on the polymer tube. Why risk buying a different tube for your AK/Saiga/VEPR type firearm when this one proves to be excellent for an excellent price?

This stock is of excellent quality. The holes are pre-drilled with steel threads for the screws and is very secure. The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 bullets is the size. I have an old Norinco AKM and the spacing doesn't fit my tang. However, it is such a sturdy design it only needs the base screw and this thing is rock solid. It required a small bit of filling to fit my stamped receiver. I had a different tube from another company on before that was so flimsy, and the screw holes were just drilled into the polymer, they eventually wore on consistent fire and came loose. I've put about 500 rounds through the gun with this new one and it's still perfect, thanks to the metal threads.

I am more than happy with this item. It did take a little trimming but then again nothing fits every AK the same. I like the fact that it doesn't have a large bulky adapter that decreases the look of the rifle.

Well it fits, but I would have been better if they had not drilled the holes for me. It doesn't line up on the rear of the receiver, and the buttstock will not slide up or down. I will have to take some material off.
