Works like it should on my Marlin .22. Not sure if it could take the recoil of .223 or bigger.

Paid just under $24, what a deal. Good quality sight and was a lot better then I was expecting. The mounting hardware sucks and the screws stripped out. I just replaced them with some black oxide #6-32 screws from the hardware store. Just to cinch that mounting bracket up so it didn't come loose.
