This is a nice addition to any AR-15 style rifle. The larger latch makes it easier and faster to cycle the bolt, especially if you have optics on your flat top receiver. The metal ridges make it easy to grip, but I can see them grating your fingers over an afternoon of malfunction clearing drills pretty easily. If you don't already use shooting gloves, you may want to with this. One caveat though, I tried this on both a POF AR-10 and an Oly Arms AR-15 and could not get full range on the latch for quick use, because it needed more room on the charging handle to fully retract. I decided to shave a few millimeters off the charging handle and I have excellent release with the latch now.
