Both are made from durable, metal-reinforced polymer and are a good option when seeking a quality sight. Both are .600" when in the folded position, from the top of the receiver. Both #71 Front and Rear Sights are designed to allow attachment to all universal dovetail 1913 rails. Not for use on Dovetail Gas Blocks. With Steel Apertures.

These are great BUIS. You can tell these sights are made well as soon as you take them out of the box. I would have no problem recommending these sights. As a matter of fact, my brother ordered a pair after I showed him mine.

These are exceptional BUIS. I will go as far as to say I like them better than the Magpuls. They are all polymer, except for the apertures, which are MIL-Spec steel and can be replaced with any after market sight posts. I'm not sure about the rear, due to the design. Coolest thing about these is that the top of both rear apertures is notched out, so you have a back up to your back ups and is very useful for fine aiming. These things are extremely solid and sturdy and flick up with with a solid snap. I don't see this spring wearing out, ever. They are also very low profile and the perfect height for co-witness aiming. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.
