Dropping this kit into your S&W M&P will set the trigger break point farther forward than the factory trigger assembly as well as reduce the uptake and over travel. It mimics the 1911 style trigger. The Forward Set Trigger is machined from aircraft grade aluminum and black hard anodized to last a lifetime.

This kit comes complete with everything you need to upgrade your M&P to reduce pretravel, over travel and set the trigger pull to a smooth 4-5 lbs.

Purchased this through CTD and have been completely satisfied with it after ~200 rds or so. Installed this kit on my M&P9c and mine averages at 3.2 lbs tops, with a Timney scale, which is great. Even if at the stated 4-5 lbs, this set would be great. Solves all issues with over-travel and pre-travel with a crisp, clean trigger break. Trigger itself if far better than factory; similar to my Walther PPQ with trigger safety in the middle. If using for carry, I would personally recommend the external safety model, for a less experienced shooter. A+
