I have sling attachments set up on my m4 and shotgun, and my wife's SCAR and shotgun. All 2-points have now been removed from all of them, as we wear our own single points. A quick release tug of the clamp via a rubber-like 4" string releases the weapon for quick attachment to another long gun. I put the sling in the freezer overnight doubting the "rubber-like" string's integrity and knowing I could replace it with 550 cord. took it out the next day and it performed flawlessly. Didnt break or crack and put my 550 cord away. Should the release string break for any reason, it is replacable easily. The bungee function is great and allows me to keep the weapon close or "stretch" it out during shooting for a tight hold into my shoulder. Ive also put a 10-lb weight (average weight of a tactical longgun unloaded.....6-8 lbs) hanging on one end and the other end anchored to a shack ceiling for 2 days. undid the sling, took off the weight and it sprung back into its shortest length. Having this sling simplifies the sling issue of each long gun having their own. If i buy another, ours may have been stolen or itll be for a 3rd shooter, not because ours broke/tore.
