I got this and mounted it on my Kel Tec Sub 2000 9MM. It has been rock solid except for the intermittent cutting out of the dot, which only happens at the two lowest power settings (hence the 3 Bullet rating). If I click the brightness switch back and forth, it works fine. Due to the difficulty of mounting this on the Sub 2000 (if you have one you know what a pain that is)I kept it on. After 500-600 rounds over 18 months it has never shifted zero. A good deal and I would recommend it.

Purchased one of these for my Mini-14 Ranch .223. Was easy to dial in with only about 7 to 10 rounds fired, (and could probably be done with fewer as it was windy in Texas that day...)One issue I had was finding Ruger mounting rings for the 30mm tube. I was fortunate to have a gun show locally that allowed me to find some. Alot of people may not be so fortunate. Weapon comes from the factory with 1 inch that will not work. Would love to see CTD offer these rings in aftermarket variety, as Ruger's are rather expensive... Love the product though, and can't wait to heat the barrel up on some varmints !! Texas Red !

I mounted one of these to my Yugo SKS. Initially, the setup would not hold zero because of the violent recoil of the gas piston assembly directly under the mount. A little nail polish on the threads, and problem solved! This dot sight is excellent for the money. I have my SKS sighted for 50 yards, and I shoot at 25 and 100 yards with very little hold-over. Perfect for what I use the rifle for. I'd definitely recommend nail polish or loctite on all machine screws. The included rings have held zero perfectly, even after being heavily mistreated on several occasions.

You willl not find a better red dot for 4X the money. Stick to the single dot. The changable dots do not repeat from setting to setting. Poor eyesight, this is your scope. Quick aquisition, this is your scope. I use this all season long on a black powder gun and a shot gun and only use two batteries. I would buy a good set of rings. The ones with it are ok but not in the same class as the scope. I can hold 3" out to 125 no problem. For hunting that will bring home a lot of meat.
