I have a Bushmaster A2. I already had a carry handle weaver rail adapter, and I bought these to mount a scope to my carry handle as low as possible. Works great.

These rings are great for mounting scopes on removeable flat top rails where NO more height is desired off the rail. The rail already raises the height of the optic as far as you would want it off the rifle. These "four" set screw rings will mount your scope securely to the rail without raising it much. Then you can still use your rail as a much better "quick detach mount", far more suitable than quick detatch rings for keeping zero while switching between optics!
