4.0 Rating Kahar CW9 - 3/3/2011
Reviewer: Al
Nice gun for carry conceal, light weight, I was impressed with overall quality and workmanship of this cw model, I wasn't expecting a lot but was pleasantly surprised. The Cons are mag capacity only 7+1, The front sight is pinned, so no night sights can be installed, and 200 round break in period per Kahr. I would recommend this gun to anyone looking for a smaller carry conceal pistol or back up gun.

5.0 Rating Very accurate - 7/11/2011
Reviewer: R.K.
This is a very accurate gun, at 10 yard I can easily put a group less than a inch. No problem with ammo also, went through 500+ rounds, no jam yet. Trigger pull is a bit long, because there's no safety, you may need some time to get use to it, and I do wish it holds more than just 7 rounds, other than these two minor things I can't complain at all. Going to get a K9 next.

5.0 Rating Great for Concealed Carry - 10/9/2012
Reviewer: Paul
I wanted a gun smaller than my SR9c for concealed carry. After a lot of research, I decided on the CW9. All of my research said it was reliable, simple to operate, and accurate. Sizewise, it's smaller than my wife's SR22, so it's easy to carry, but still has a 3.5 inch barrel. I picked up my new pistol on Friday and took it home to clean. Then, I spent the weekend racking the slide to loosen it up and dry firing it to get used to the trigger. It is tight out of the box, but the recoil spring does seem to be loosening up a bit. I read some comments about the slide serrations being sharp. As much as I worked the slide over the weekend, I did not find this to be a problem. Got it to the range yesterday. Kahr recommends a 200 round break-in, so I wasn't looking for accuracy to start. First shots were at 5 yards, and the first three shots were all touching each other on the target. Put 100 rounds through it with no failures of any sort. Ammo used was Federal bulk. I was surprised at the light recoil. I am used to shooting 9mm in my SR9c, and I would say the CW9 is comparable. The trigger pull is long, but so smooth that the long pull didn't bother me. I would say that after the single range session, I was shooting it as accurately as my SR9c, and the SR9c has a Ghost trigger! I couldn't be happier with the CW9, and CTD's price had all of the online sites beat by quite a lot. UPDATE: Put another 125 rounds through the CW9 (Federal, Remington, and PMC FMJ and Federal Classic and American Bullet JHPs). Shot everything perfectly. Recoil spring must be taking a set, as the slide is much easier to rack than when it first came out of the box. Just ordered three more mags from CTD. This gun is a keeper!
