This stuff is AWESOME!!! Very loud, very powerful, very accurate. Wear double ear protection.... Your ears will ring through just muffs or plugs. Invite some friends for the show, these babies will attract a crowd at the range. Great rounds for a great price. I bought a case and plan on buying more.

I just bought 4 boxes of this stuff, almost $100 worth of it and it is not worth the postage paid to get it to me. I went to the range and tried bullets from two of the four boxes. After 10 misfires I quit trying. I did get two of them to go off after trying them a second time. Something just is not right with them. Not worth using for hunting or even at the range. No problem with any other ammo I tried at the same range day, everything else, both .45 LC and .460 S&W Federal loads all went on first shot every time. They are 1/2 price for a reason folks!!! Buyer beware!!!

THESE ROUNDS DO HAVE A BARK, BUT THEY ARE A VERY ACCURATE & LONG DISTANCE ROUND. I'VE SHOT MANY DEER @100 YDS. & WITH THESE I CAN NOW REACH OUT THERE A BIT FURTHER, WITH NO PROBLEMS & VERY GOOD ACCURACY. I'VE STOCKED UP ON THESE & LOVE SHOOTING THEM. This is the BEST ROUND you can buy (factory) and for the least money. I have a PC Smith and Wesson 10" and I have taken 4 deer in the last 3 years with it at ranges from 50 to 175 yards. EVERYONE of them went straight down with one shot. I will not shoot any other kind of ammo......and yes I have stocked up.....I have enough for 10 years of deer hunting.....This is not really a plinking cal.....

This ammo is great and has now been renamed #1 stopper ammo since ! shot seemed to stop a BISON rather easily. I would recomend this stuff for any type of hunting. Oh lets not forget its cheaper than some other ammo I shot and O H*@@ of a lot beter

I own 2 - .460 S&W. 1 limited edition with 8-3/4" barrel. The other is a 2-3/4" that my son takes as backup when he hunts in the Northern states. He tells me, that with this Honardy ammo he has NO problem hitting anything even out at 100 yds w/open sights (out of the 2-3/4" barrel). For giggles we shreded a railroad tie, blowing chunks of it out the backside. Why would you need anything more or cost more? Fantastic at night 3' flame.

Since my first review I've helped several more hogs into the next life with this round. Beautiful. The expanding bullet just shreds the lungs on those kinds of shots and the piggie falls immediately or shortly after. I've got one out to 80 yards and she fell within a few seconds after dancing a little lungshot dance. Awesome stuff and ain't handgun hunting so much fun with this round?

Excellent ammo, big giant blast and good effects downrange. I am not a hunter, but I am having a blast blowing things into the next century. My S&W Performance Center eats this ammo up, very accurate with open sights. When we go shooting up in the hills, everyone always stops and says "What the hell was that?" after I touch off a round. Funny thing is that no one wants to shoot my gun when I offer it to them, they just back away and watch the show. On the 4th I shot five off (in a a safe direction) during our fireworks show and more than a few people said it was the best part of the evening, massive flame blowing out of the barrel and then sucking itself back down into the barrel. The most fun you can have with your clothes on!! I fear no predator when I have this ammo in my gun.

Love this ammo, I have a 460 hunter with the 12 inch barrel, I can hit a standard target at 100 yards, doea have some kick so be prepared, love it.

I finally got to use my 460 Hawg Huntin. Holy COW! We had finally got to within 30 yards of a group of pigs. The Queen sow moved into the clear slightly quartering to me. I aimed for the front of the shoulder area and squeezed the trigger. KaBoom! She was knocked off her feet which were the only things I saw reaching for the sky! I was ready to take a follow up shot, but it was not needed. She never moved. I mean she never even twitched! The round crushed the opposite shoulder and exited leaving a gaping hole. What a powerhouse! I hope to use it again this fall Elk hunting.

This is by far the best value for the money for factory loaded 460 SW ammo. Makes a big, big loud noise that had my neighbors coming by wondering if I had bought a cannon. The recoil is truly remarkable even in my 8.375 inch XVR, but is manageable. One round put a 250ish pound feral pig into the next life INSTANTLY. He just fell flat down on his snout without saying goodbye. Impressive. At a little more than a dollar a round I see no reason to use other makers' ammo, which runs double or more and probably is inferior to this stuff.

Wow! With my S/W Custom 5' barrel at 25 yds, I expected it to group well and it did. I was able to get a very nice tight group just to the left of dead center right out of the box! A minor adjustment and the next 5 took out the bullseye! Moving to the 100 yard, with the same open sight picture the gun and ammo put 4 out of 5 within the 8 ring! Yes, 100 yards! I am fairly sure operator error made the 5th print out of the black. Stout recoil even with the ported barrel. Muzzel blast is tremendous. I wear earmuffs over ear plugs!

This ammunition is extremely clean, accurate, and powerful, and is very pleasant to shoot (only kicks slightly harder than a .50AE Desert Eagle) - I punched a 4-inch group at 15 yards off hand in double action mode easily with this ammunition with an 8.375" 460XVR. Wear ear plugs and jam them deep into your ears as the noise is extreme; the muzzle flash is also impressive - about 2 feet wide and 3 feet long!
