these work GREAT on Savage model 24 over/under combo guns of any age. even before they started grooving the top barrel. they will grasp the grove between the two barrels. they also allow see thru for shotgun shooting. use a LONG EYE RELIEF scope for maximum benefit as this allows shooting both the rifle and the shotgun with BOTH EYES OPEN so the scope functions not only as a riflescope but a shotgun sighting aid as well. what more could you want? there is NO substitute.

These are great .22 see through scope rings. I am very pleased with them and they do server their purpose. I took a bullet off because they are a little hard to install. There are only two screws to tighten so if you are leveling your scope, once you get it leveled and then tighten it on the sight rail, it moves quite a bit while you tighten the rings to the sight rial.
