Hi, This gun is an excellent buy .For the price of it and the result getting also from it you will be very happy about it . Now remember here at this club the discount money are very hight so it is the best place to shooping for items in the internet. If you ask me what will be better for you a .38 special revolver or this gun I will answer very honest way . This gun is much better for me for many reason .One of them I get to carry it conceal in my state and also prices to load it are very cheaper than regular guns. Thanks.

the fit and finish of this gun are great! it locks up tight and the triger pull is clean and crisp. the only real problem i had was with the barrel wedge.I tryd several times to get it out with a brass punch and a hammer and eventually had to graduate to a steel bunch to remove it. this seems to be a comon ploblem with 1851 and 1860/61 peitta modles. the nipples are also hard to take out the first time. peitta needs to tell the gorilla assembeling these guns to take it easy!and lay off the spinich! but other than that its a great and well made gun.
