Overall, fit and finish are good. Grips are shaped more like original Colt grips. Much improved over the usual tail on Pietta revolvers. Very pleased with grip. The triggerguard and backstrap are polished steel. Cylinder to barrel gap is 0.002". Arbor to barrel alignment fit correct. Trigger pull out of box is 2.5 lbs. Cylinder bore to barrel alignment is correct on all 6 bores. Smooth action and timing is correct. All internal lock action parts are clean with no metal flashing. Polishing of internals is optional. Needed only minor fitting of bolt to cylinder stop slots. Has been my experience to routinely fit bolt to cylinders on Pietta revolvers. Planning on making this a project gun and shooter. Have been very pleased with Traditions (Pietta Mfg.) products.
