As others have stated, I had misfeeds right out of the box. I did file the underneath side of the right side, looking at the front of the mag lip and after a few strokes with a chain saw file, they worked like a champ. Buy them and be prepared to do a bit of modification then it's greased lighting.

I really would have given this 4 stars when I bought it but after using it several times, I've had some mis-feeds (could have been the ammo I suppose, but the really good one's feed crap too). It also wiggles in my 10/22 so when it doesn't fit tight it's not a good thing. I bought these before Ruger came out with their own 25 round clips. I'll probably try those and see if they're better.

I now have 4 of these mags. They work flawlessly in my 10/22. Love them, plan to get another 4! I tried others with plastic lips (Eagle) and the are horrible. These are worth a few more bucks, no question about it.

I finally got to try out my new Ruger 10/22 rifle today. I loaded 25 rounds of Remington into my Butler Creek magazine and all 25 rounds fired without any trouble at all. Next, I tried the factory 10 round drum magazine and I has one misfeed. After several hundred rounds through the Butler Creek, I only had a handful of rounds not cycle correctly; very likely an ammo issue. Shooting very quickly rendered one stove pipe. I found 25 rounds to be plenty of rounds to shoot at one time and it's great convenience not having to load the rounds frequently as with the stock magazine. In all, this is a great quality magazine that I would rely upon and recommend to a friend.
