However, Magtech First Defense solid copper bullets have no jacket to split or tear away; ensuring every round you fire meets its target with maximum impact and effectiveness.

I evaluated this in the wife's Walther PK380 and it shot flawlessly. I like the concept of a light, solid copper self-defense round, and it seems at least reliable. However, the wife didn't like it and we wound up with Federal Hydra-Shoks as our carry load. YMMV.

Very shiny but that is all that is good about this ammo. It won’t work with any of my 380 pistols MDE or Ruger LCP. The cartridge gets stuck on the chamber edge when being loaded difficult to retrieve after all. Didn’t have chance to shoot it. Stay away from it if you own any of the above listed guns. No problems with any FMJ.

We bought a box of Winchester White Box 380. It was dirty and I had a lot of jams in the Bersa. My gun shop guy told me to try these in the Bersa. Wow, no problems with feeding and I had good groupings. Magtech works great in the Bersa Thunder 380.

I have had these loaded in my Bersa Thunder 380. Very accurate gun, very accurate ammo. To the guy who used firewood as an expansion test... what were you thinking, A body isn't hard like firewood. a solid copper hollow point will act like a FMJ when sinking into firm wood. When fired into ballitics gel or, hope to never have to, a human body, the rounds will open up better than most jacketted hollow points.

I bought these for my p3at and am concerned if I ever had to use them. I shot a magazine into a piece of firewood, split the wood to see the expansion, none! This is a solid brass hollow point, no lead. I can't wait for my Silvertips to ship so I can get these out of my weapon. My belief is these will shoot like FMJs and go right through someone and into something else.

put a box through my Keltec p3AT,No bobbles and all were in the 9 ring at 15 yards! You can't ask for better from a pocket gun and ammo!

Fired some of these from my Bersa (Firestorm) .380 a few days ago at the range, and there was no problems at all. They all fed flawlessly.

I had my doubts about Magtech going in to my range visit but this ammo changed my mind. Shooting out of a Bersa Thunder 380 they worked like a champ, good accuracy, midrange recoil and flash and because of the all copper bullet no leading problems. These guys give Corbon's DPX a competitive run for their money.
