I use this in a 16.8 oz Taurus ultralite snubby. Shoots to point of aim with a tight grouping. Recoil is manageable. From what I understand, penetration in ballistic gelatin is around 11 inches with a nice mushroom and total weight retention. I rated this round 5 bullets because it shoots so well in the Taurus I carry as a BUG. On another note, accuracy is not as good in my Ruger SP101 .357, but this ammo is NOT intended for that gun. Each gun has it's own ammo preference. I find it interesting that both Magtech and Taurus are made in Brazil and work so well together.
