Great Bang for the Buck! I comes very well packed in a hard outter case that is very nice. Inside is the Scope and Tripod in a very handy Nylon Case. Everything fits great! Optics are clear and this Scope is Powerful!!! Now it's No Leupold! But for something your going to Drag into the Bush and beat up. This is the scope for you!

4.0 Rating Awesome Deal! - 7/2/2011

Now, I did not buy this exact item, but I actually have another Simmons spotter scope that CTD hasn't stocked in a while. All I can say is that this product is a great value and I have been really happy with Simmon's stuff so far! The optical clarity is superb and everything is user friendly. The quality of the scope, tripod, the hard case and simple packaging says a lot!

5.0 Rating Worth 50% more - 9/17/2011
Reviewer: OLD Cav Scout
After I bought this spotting scope, I found the identical scope, with a well known name on it. It did not come with the case or the tripod. It was priced almost double what I paid for this scope. This scope is made by a very well known company, to the same standards, just doesn't have the name on it. The case is good quality, the tripod is a bit flimsy when fully extended... No matter to me though since I already have a high quality tripod.

4.0 Rating Great for the money - 4/4/2012
Reviewer: David
I found the very same item at the local big box sporting goods store for $149.95. The one I recieved was not black but grey rubber coated. Not a big deal, probably a production change. This is not a $300.00 scope and not a $1200.00 scope. It is a very usable item that is priced for the average user and it does a good job. The aluminum case is a nice touch and a welcome addition at the resonable price. If you want a scope that is light, easy to use and leaves money in your pocket this is a good buy. If you have to have the highest quality and the best of the best you will need to spend a lot more. I'm just fine with this for its intended use.

5.0 Rating specific - 4/26/2012
Reviewer: Tice33rd
I really didn't expect much from this cheap of a scope. This thing rocks. At 300 yards, I can clearly read a street sign. I can clearly distinguish an F from an E. I haven't used this at the range to look for holes on a target...yet. I'm sure at 100-200 yards it will be fine. The case is padded, and the scope comes in a padded bag inside of the padded case. The tripod has extendable legs which put the scope anywhere from more than 12" to more than 3 feet off the ground. Packing this up is quick, and there's space in the box to pack a laser rangefinder as well. Even the lens cap is quality. Well done, Simmons!
