This is a very versatile knife. I used it for everything from butchering to splitting kindling. I have even cut down trees up to 4". Very sturdy, well made knife. Sheath is somewhat cheaply made, but who cares? I would have gladly paid much more for it without a sheath.

first impressions was hell ya. but after a closer look no not happy with the sheath it sucks. the handle is kinda shady only time will tell how the knife holds up. would not buy another one.

This is an excellent well made knife for overall use. I use it to cut through ribs and bones when cooking. Maintains it's edge and is easy to touch up the blade. This is also a very good and reliable defense weapon. This Cutlass is well worth a lot more money.

A must own machete. This thing is wicked sharp out of box and has a great ''rambo'' feeling. I also love the condura sheath. For the 40 bucks, this thing will never fall apart. (It's a kabar what do I expect)
