You can get a MUCH better spotting scope for this kind of money. 20x may sound like a lot, but the optics on this thing are terrible.

Okay guys & gals... I needed a low end spotting scope for my sighting my new AR-15 with my EOTech 512. I purchased this product thinking I could get away with a cheap alternative to see more detailed precision in zeroing in my firearm. I was wrong.! The unit tripod is the biggest POS (weakness!) I have ever experienced. The scope itself is nominally okay, but without a solid foundation, what's the point....?

This is a great, affordable spotting scope. We used it at a 100 meter range and it couldn't have been more perfect. We could accurately judge inches at 100 meters. The only real drawback would be the plastic body, but as long as you don't abuse your hardware it really isn't an issue. The zoom isn't adjustable, but you can focus it in at the range you need. I highly recommend this scope if you are stuck on a budget like I am.

A great and cheap spotting scope. I requires you to readjust the focus based on distance and it has no zoom modification, just a straight 20x zoom. Overall, this scope is clear and great. It comes with a nifty little case and the tripod is solid. I was expecting this scope to be heavier than it is, it weighs just over a pound. It is a good buy for the price if you just need a spotting scope.
