Went on in minutes. Hurts like a SOB to shoot 3 inch magnum buckshot or slugs with it but that is to be expected. I put 100 rounds of clay buster shot down range with it besides the couple 3 inchers I put down with it and needless to say my hand was sore. Otherwise it worked flawlessly. Still on there good and tight and the cap didn't come loose. If you need a pistol grip for your shotgun then this one isn't a bad buy!

Picked it up a week ago for my 500, got to try it out at the range today. Assembly is simple, and it hardly interferes with using the weapon. that said, you have no stock so all that 12 gauge energy goes right to your hand. I do not advise using slugs or buck with this, but if all you need is a breaching tool or a home defense piece, this will work fine. Only problem is that the rear cap comes off after a shot or two.
