This is a great kit as long as you have power tools to make things easier. An air cut off wheel, grinder and drilling press help things out alot. I would have gone insane trying to do this with a hacksaw and a drill.

I agree with the last review. I got it and it was a lot more trouble than the money you save doing it yourself. I would just pay the extra $40 and get it bent/welded

Installing is easy. If you are planning to use the no gunsmithing scope mount, be sure not to cut the bolt too close to the bolt body or you will have to cut the mount. If using the weaver style bases you will need to use the tall see through rings, other wise the handle will not clair a 3x9x40 scope without grinding on the bolt handle to get clearance between bolt and scope.This handle will not clear offset see through rings offset to the rear. I wish I had bent my bolt handle instead. As soon as I can I will replace this mess with a weld on low scope handle. I would not recomend this handel to anyone.
