Yugo 24/47. This thing is stout. I was terrified at the amount of wood I had to remove to get this thing to fit in the stock (there is an aluminum base not shown that clamps to the receiver). But once there, it has been rock solid. Doesn't look bad, either. I sent an extra bolt to a gentleman in Vermont (gunbroker search for Mauser bolt bending) and he bent the bolt and took the non-numbers-matching serial off and polished it (beautiful work). I have had so many people question this rifle when we take it out to shoot. Add a Boyd Bold trigger, and you will have a very nice shooting 8mm thumper.

I love the scope mount! I put it on my vz. 24 rifle (Nazi bent bolt) and the only thing I was displeased with was the amount of modification needed on the stock. It takes a lot of time and patience to Dremel out that much wood from the stock. Otherwise, I am pleased with it and am very happy to recommend it to people. But, I would not recommend it for a Nazi Mauser. A nice German Mauser ought to have a Nice German scope or scope mount. If you have a Nazi Mauser, don't destroy your stock just to have this scope mount. - The Gun Crazy Redneck
