This forend is designed with a double-finger groove grip for control and comfort. Complete with adapters and wrench. (will not fit Maverick models) New interchangeable components fit most popular 12 gauge pump shotguns, Remington 870, Mossberg 500/590/835, Winchester 1200, Winchester 1300, and Defender. Constructed of indestructible black polymer nylon. Easy to install, no modifications or gunsmithing required. Includes an Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.

Note: This forend is only compatible to Mossberg Shotguns with a removable forend, any Mossberg Shotgun newer than 2006 should be checked to insure that it has a removable forend with a castle nut.

I've installed these on every pump I own. These are ergonomically perfect. They fit your hand like a glove and are in the right place on your pump. Other brands similar to this sit too far forward on the slide for my taste. They are easy to install if you know how to disassemble your shotgun. They used to include a nut removal tool with this item, but the last 2 of these I've bought did not come with one. I almost always install these in combination with ATI's pistol grip full stock which makes a perfect set-up. Your grip is in a natural fighting stance for easier weapon control and recoil reduction. This combo allows for easy transition from shouldered to hip firing and vice versa. Super products well worth the money.

Upon the retrieval of said product it lived up to the variety of shotguns that it could be used with. Both the Remington 870 and M500 were easily outfitted with the grip. However, it did not feel stable on either weapon and caused the Action Slide tube assembly bars on either to give or wobble to much. In other words the front pump assembly was not stable enough for my tastes, otherwise it achieved a good look and a practical function.

Looks cheaply made but it works great- wouldn't trust it to hold up to everyday use but just as a home defense should be fine.
