I installed these sights on a rifled barrel for a Remington 870 Express quickly and easily with a hammer and a punch. I built a little jig to hold the end of the barrel in my vise without scratching, and got the old front sight out and the new one in without any hitch. I sighted in quickly, which is a good thing with 3" magnum slugs.

In general this is a well made product. The fitting are made of metal unlike the same product from TruGlo which is made from plastic. Rear sight fit the base on a new Rem 870 16 ga slug barrel perfectly. The front sight dovetail base was slightly smaller than the dovetail on the barrel's base and would slide completely through and would not stay securely in place. I believe this to be more an issue the barrel's dovetail base and the sight. A very thin layer of JB Weld applied to the bottom of the front sight's dovetail solved that problem. I downgraded this rating to 4 star because of 2 things. 1) The rear sight does not have windage graduation lines as the original Remington rear sight. 2) The front sight is not a bright as a TruGl oPro-Series Magnum Gobble-Dot Fiber Optic Shotgun Sights front sight although it is larger in diameter than the Truglo. Overall though I'd recommend this product.
