I've had my sights mounted now for about 5 months and love 'em. They went easily onto my 45 cal Taurus and my 24/7 OSS Tactical 9mm and have stayed put so far. The difference between these sights and the factory ones is like night and day, literally. The brighter the ambient light the brighter the sights are, and they get BRIGHT. You will swear they are battery powered. But don't expect them to operate like night sights. They are not and aren't intended to be used as night sights. 5 big fat bullets cause these are just what the doctor ordered.

I ordered these sights for my new Taurus Millennium Pro PT140. The Original 'Heine Straight 8' sights grouped 3" low & 2" to the left. Installed the Fire Sights and had the same results. Sent the pistol back to Taurus for Accuracy checking, had a two-week turn-a-round and it now groups at the X+10 ring (2.5" group at 15yds.). Had to remove the Fire Sight front sight and replace with a correct lower front white dot. According to Williams Gun Sight Co., they manufactured the Fire Sights to Taurus' factory sight specifications, which my original and Fire Sight testing showed same groupings. Sights really do "light up" for you. In their current configuration, you cannot use the front fibre optic sight from Williams on the Taurus PT1xx Millennium Pro pistols. Now, if Williams would only make the rear sight adjustable for height, it would be a GREAT Sight For Sore Eyes!

Bought these sights so the Mrs could get quicker target acquisition. She nor I, like the straight eights. They work! I have a Taurus PT 111 Mil Pro. And At 7 yards,(21 ft), nail bulleyes and COM. If you're shooting low at such a short distance...adjust finger on trigger. It's not the sights.

WOW!!! This made all the difference in the world when I installed these sights on my Taurus PT140 Millenium Pro! Before I bought my PT 140 I became very proficient with my Taurus PT 24/7 9MM that had the "3D Heine Sights". When I started shooting with the PT 140 that had "Heine Straight 8" sights I noticed a sharp drop in my accuracy. Again - WOW! After the Williams "Fire Sights" were on the PT 140 I was "nailing" the center of the silhoutte target in a nice tight pattern again! If you have any Taurus "PT Series" pistol with the factory "Straight 8 Sights" this is a "MUST HAVE" item. The sights are extremely easy to install (just need the right allen wrenches) and simply "eyeballing" the alignment on the slide will give you great results that will surely suprise you.

I hated the straight 8's that came on my PT140 mil pro. These were easy to install for the most part and created a much better sight picture for me. Only reason i didnt give a 5 is cause you need some light to be able to see them. The trijicon's would prolly be a better choice for very dark situations. But overall a great value and a vast improvement.

I bought a set of these sights for my Taurus Millenium Pro 9mm. The sights went on fairly easily and they are very visible which is what I was looking for. The Only problem I have is that when aiming and ligning the dots up at 25 feet the gun shoots about 9-11 inches low. These are not adjustable sights so I guess to correct this I will need to buy the adjustable rear sights. I would have thought the elevation would have been a bit closer to true than that. Moto61
