Installs in 15 seconds. On your XD mag there is button at the bottom of the black polymer base plate. Use a ball point pen, press it, slide off original poly plate, and slide on the grip extension. The extension will lock into place automatically. Feels great and gives more control. adds 1/2 inch, still concealable. Quality is same of that of the factory material. Fits perfect in my uncle mike's sidekick ambi holster. Buying another for my other 9rd XD .40SW mag. Im in California, so we are limited to 10rds, so people are only retailing the 9rd mags. S

I just got my order and installed it on my Springfield Armory XD 3" Sub Compact. Initial impression: very easy to install. great fit. Color match to gun is pretty good. Feels great, I can get all three fingers on grip now which should help with control. Doesn't increase overall size by that much so still easy to carry. Can't beat the price, alot bang for your buck (sorry for the pun) a must buy for sub compact owners.
