After reading the reviews I thought "What the heck?" and bought the holster anyway. When I slid the pistol in place, it pushed the slide back a bit almost to the point where it would have cycled a round (if it was loaded). Trying to free it from the holster was quite a workout the first time. I stuck a small Glock in there to stretch it out a bit, and after 2 days of sitting, its still way to tight. It DOES catch the slide a bit when you holster it but its not as bad as when I first tried it. I have had 4 other Fobus holsters and love them all, they need to remake this model.

This is a great holster. I will agree the other comments that it was very tight at first, but after practicing drawing from it, it loosened up some but kept its perfect fitting. I was a little unsure about paddle holster for concealed carry because they seemed a bit baulky and I will admit I have to pay attention to catching it while getting into or out of car. But I think the same thing could be said about all outside-the-pants holsters. Plus, if your carrying you should be cognizant of your firearm at all time anyway. All in all after over a year using it I liked it enought to buy the same Fobus model for my Glock. I'll give it a few weeks before I comment on that one though.

A little trick that works with these type holsters when they are too tight is to heat the trigger well portion of the holster with a heat gun. Don't heat it too much, just enough to see the plastic start to shine. After that do some practice draws. The holster will been broken in after 2 or 3 draws.

Wow, this is a bad holster. In order to 'break it in' you have to do OVER 300 draws or so from it, and even then its still not broken in. During those 300 draws you really gaff your gun up! I have scratches all over my gun now and the black matt is just sheered off in most places. Not only that but it also ripped off my front sight post in the process! I know a gun is a 'tool' and not meant to be kept all shiny and pretty but CMON'!

I've read the other reviews here and my thoughts are that you shouldn't have to scuff up your pistol by drawing a hundred times, nor should I have to use hot air to reform the hard plastic! The product should just work and it doesn't. I've already drawn from this holster about 50 times and its still beyond horrible. Get another holster. FOBUS get a freaking clue and put a button release on your holster instead of being cheap!
