Features delayed, controlled expansion. Deep penetration through thick, tough skin, heavy muscle tissue and bone, high retained weight. Use for big game thin and thick skinned such as whitetail deer, mule deer, antelope, black and brown bear, moose, elk, caribou, and dangerous game with thin skin such as leopard and lion. Fully bonded lead alloy core. High weight retention. Pinpoint accuracy. Boattail design Lubalox coating/Red polymer tip.

These rounds have proven to be excellent at dropping big deer. However, this year I had a misfire with one. When I examined the round, I discovered that moisture can "wick" down the serrated sleeve surrounding the bullet causing the powder to turn to a "cake texture". I kept the box of bullets in an ammo box with NO DESSICANT!!! That is a must for these bullets. KEEP THEM DRY> Otherwise an unbelievable hunting load.

this ammo is great at long ranges perfect for windy days. i have been shooting these for good while now and other than the fusion round this is the round i will keep shooting this round.
